Choosing Ascension Part 2: Living From the Heart

This is Part 2 of a discussion on Ascension. Part 1 was an introduction to the ascension process. In this article, I will explain how to consciously ascend in order to speed up the process.

It is not necessary to be aware of the ascension process in order to develop spiritually. Each one of us is ascending whether we are aware of it or not. In fact, the first 3 initiations – which happen over thousands of lifetimes – are completed with little or no awareness of the individual.

Descending into the Physical: The Fall of Man

In spirituality, there is a concept known as “root races.” In this meaning, “race” refers to a whole set of human beings that developed at the same time. In other words, humanity has been developing in waves. Once the first root race developed to a certain level, the second root race was brought into existence.

According to some accounts, the first three root races never experienced physical existence. The reason is that although they had free will, they chose not to experiment with it. As a result, all of the learning and development occurred on the etheric plane (which is known in the Bible as the “Garden of Eden.”

The account of the “fall of man” is the story of the fourth root race. This root race, symbolized by Adam and Eve, decided to experiment with free will. The decision is symbolized by their decision to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. As a result, their vibrations became lower and they sank from the etheric plane to the physical plane. The Bible story suggests that they were cast out of the Garden of Eden by God, but it would be more accurate to say that they descended from Eden due to their own choices.

After The Fall

The descension of humankind had other significant consequences. One consequence was that they were now reincarnated into physical bodies, which needed to be fed in order to be kept alive. In contrast, nothing was necessary to keep the etheric bodies alive, which is why life on the etheric plane would seem like paradise compared to life on the Earth.

Another consequence of dissension is that humankind -when incarnated in their physical bodies – forgot who they were. The true selves were not visible to them, so they instead mistakenly assumed that they were their physical bodies. This forgetfulness of the true self is what has made the ascension journey and long and convoluted process.

Over the many centuries, mankind has been slowly developing and ascending back towards the higher vibrational etheric plane. In the meantime, the 5th and 6th root races have already been brought into existence at the lower physical plane. There is a 7th root race, but this one is waiting until humankind has ascended to the etheric plane, which is what the New Earth is presumably about.

Conscious Ascension

As mentioned earlier, the first 3 initiations take thousands of lifetimes. Thankfully, most people that are currently alive are close to the third or have already passed it. One common sign that a person will soon pass the 3rd initiation is the experience of a spiritual awakening.

After the 3rd initiation, a person who is not aware of the ascension process would potentially continue to progress over hundreds of lifetimes. But it is possible to speed up this process and complete the 4th and 5th invitations in the same lifetime. How is this possible?

Ascension up to the 5th initiation is about clearing your remaining karma. A person who is not aware of how karma is created and cleared would continue to slowly clear their karma over many lifetimes. However, all remaining karma can quickly be cleared by consciously clearing old karma instead of creating new karma.

Every day, our life experiences give us opportunities to rebalance our karma. Everything that we think and do is either creating new karma, or releasing it. Those who choose to follow the path of least resistance will continue to create karma via their negative patterns of behavior. To break these patterns of behavior, people can practice techniques such as meditation, mantras, yoga, and more.

How do we Consciously Ascend?

In general, anything that falls under the term of a “spiritual practice” is a technique for helping a person to ascend. However, many of these techniques were first introduced at a time when the Earth was in a much different place, energetically speaking. These spiritual practices are still useful, but there are now more efficient methods of “getting the job done.” One of the most helpful practices is what could be called “living from the heart.”

First, let me stress that this concept is nothing new. However, in the old energy this practice would potentially have been quite difficult for many people. But as the Earth enters the energy of the New Age, this practice is much more accessible and practical.

The Transition from Head to Heart

Recall for a moment that the 3rd initiation is about mastering the mental level. The success of accomplishing this at the group level is reflected in the way that society operates. I.e., we like to make decisions based on logic and data. This has helped us advance technologically, but it has also gotten us into a bit of trouble. In other words, our mental-level thinking has caused us to choose priorities that continue to lead us towards humanitarian and environmental crises.

What is now needed is a rebalance of our priorities. This won’t happen if we stay in our heads: we must instead learn to live and make decisions from our hearts. The technique for conscious ascension that I will now describe is called “living from the heart.”

What about Raising Vibrations?

Many spiritual seekers are taught to focus on raising their vibrations. However, many people misunderstand this concept and believe it means trying to be positive and happy all the time. This in turn can lead to a lot of effort that does not produce effective results. So it is vital to understand that when we are talking about raising vibrations, we don’t mean emotions in this case.

As human beings, we will always be subject to negative emotions. The key is not to try to eliminate those emotions (which isn’t possible) but instead to learn how to live in a state of joy in spite of them. To accomplish this, we are striving to keep our hearts as open as possible regardless of what we feel and what our current circumstances may be. The wider we can open our hearts, the greater the light we can channel through us. This in turn will allow us to live a life of love, joy, and bliss under any circumstances.

Living From the Heart

To live from the heart means to be connected to the heart at all times and pay attention to what it is telling us. From childhood, we are taught to use the logic of our minds to make decisions. Living from the heart invites us to make decisions that don’t always make sense, but always “feel” right at a deeper level.

At first, connecting to the heart might take a little practice. But after a while, you should be able to almost instantly reconnect anytime you realize that the connection has been lost. Here is a simple method.

  1. Take a deep in-breath
  2. Visualize yourself embracing someone you love deeply. It could be a lover, a child, or even a pet.
  3. On the outbreath, feel the love in the embrace while relaxing the body. You may be able to feel tingling sensations as you are filled with loving energy.

Note that a connection to the heart does not actually create love. Instead, you are channeling love through your heart when you keep it open. Anytime your heart remains open, you are bringing love into the physical world from the spiritual world.

In the Bible, Jesus often talks about those who have hardened their hearts. He is referring to people whose hearts are closed, and thus are not channeling love. A closed heart is a result of being defensive when attacked, as well as not forgiving other people. In contrast, when our hearts are open we don’t automatically attack those that we think are hurting us. We still feel the pain that others cause us, but we don’t take that pain personally.

A Heart-Centered Life

Living from the heart is a different way of living and takes some getting used to. It involves making decisions that seem crazy but feel right. It will mean learning to trust yourself, and not pay attention to the opinions of others. You will learn to act on intuition even though you don’t always know why you are doing something.

It also means releasing yourself from drama and old patterns of behavior. For example, let’s say a person is mean to you. The normal reaction is to take it personally and become angry or sad. Some people will tell their friends what happened or even post the story on social media. With each retelling or remembrance of the events, the person is attaching to those feelings of anger or hurt. This drama also blocks the connection to the heart.

In contrast, living from the heart means realizing that the actions of others are not personal. In other words, people are mean because they are having a bad day, or angry, or perhaps in a frustrating situation. They feel hurt and therefore go on the attack. By maintaining an awareness of this, you can stay in the present moment and continue to keep your heart open (and the love flowing). While it is true that it’s hard to be compassionate when someone is angry, it is also can be very healing for the other person.

Staying Present

Another crucial element for living in the heart is staying present. Some people have a tendency to excessively worry or daydream. These types of activities take your mind off the present moment, which negatively affects your ability to stay heart-centered.

Conclusion

Note that although it is a “practice,” living from the heart is not something that you just do a few minutes a day. Instead, this is a technique that you practice doing as much as possible throughout the day. The more that you become connected to your heart, the faster your progress will be in reaching the next ascension levels.

The significance of ascending is hard to overestimate. Each person’s ascension process is vital to the overall ascension of the Earth. Although the ascension of the planet to the “New Earth” is now guaranteed, it is still up to humanity as to how fast we get there.
